After three attempts, a team of Adventure Science athletes became the first westerners to complete a full trekking traverse of the Musandam Peninsula, discovering a forgotten culture along the way and exploring a vast network of archaeological sites perched high in the remote terrain of the Musandam Peninsula of Oman.
Beyond Roads follows the Adventure Science team in their third trip to the remote and inaccessible Musandam Peninsula of Oman as they continue their attempt to become the first westerners to traverse the entire 100 km length of this roadless, mountainous Peninsula while exploring it’s mountains for remnants of an unknown, ancient civilization.
